Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required.
• Must have 6 months or more of acute care nursing experience OR must be an active Participant with Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Strong sense of accountability, teamwork, ongoing education and patient-focused care are all required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Collect comprehensive data and monitor changes in patient health.
• Coordinate and communicate with the interdisciplinary health care team.
• Provide age- and disease-specific care and patient/family education.
• Document care and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
