Job summary

InBloom Autism Services in Connecticut seeks a Senior Registered Behavior Technician to lead and mentor junior RBTs while delivering evidence-based ABA interventions. You will collaborate with BCBAs/BCaBAs to ensure fidelity, data collection, and program development.

You will supervise sessions, support onboarding, and maintain compliant documentation, reporting progress and challenges within a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• Requires RBT certification with minimum 2 years of ABA experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, modeling, and support to junior RBTs and other team members.
• Assist in onboarding new technicians and ensure adherence to treatment protocols.
• Implement behavior plans designed by BCBAs/BCaBAs with high accuracy, supporting clients in achieving goals.
• Collect and monitor data on client behavior and skill development with high accuracy; provide feedback to BCBAs.
• Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in various settings; maintain high standards of care.
• Implement advanced behavior reduction techniques.
• Maintain open communication with BCBAs, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Stay updated on ABA practices and maintain BACB ethics compliance.
• Complete detailed session notes and submit documentation timely; report progress and challenges to supervising BCBA.
• Assist in addressing challenging behaviors and managing crises following safety protocols.

The Senior Registered Behavior Technician (Sr. RBT) plays a pivotal role in implementing advanced behavior intervention strategies while supporting and mentoring junior RBTs. This role involves executing client treatment plans with high fidelity, directly supporting BCBA initiatives, and taking a leadership role in data accuracy, quality assurance, and peer training. The Sr. RBT works collaboratively with BCBAs/BCaBAs to ensure client progress, implement individualized interventions, and foster team development. • Stay updated on the latest practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) through ongoing training and professional development. Maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards.
• Complete detailed and accurate session notes, ensuring timely submission of required documentation. Report progress, challenges, and improvements to the supervising BCBA.
• Assist in addressing challenging behaviors and managing crises when necessary, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications

Physical demands

Travel Required

• Up to 25% travel to assigned local Centers that InBloom currently provides services in, or will be providing services in, in the future.
