Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Regional Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to join our Resilience-Water Business Area and lead the development of water and wastewater treatment projects in our Southeast area. This is a hands-on role requiring collaboration across Arcadis locations to support projects and client development nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of water / wastewater treatment experience.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License and ability to obtain license by reciprocity in other states as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct QA/QC for water / wastewater treatment projects, ensuring contracts, drawings, specs, codes, and Arcadis’ quality and safety practices are met.
• Lead knowledge transfer and development of staff within area of expertise.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and technical staff, developing capability within the discipline.
• Manage technical coordination and leadership on large or complex projects with higher risk.
• Oversee and/or lead technical delivery of very large or specialized projects, ensuring client satisfaction and good communication with Arcadis teams.
• Support marketing and proposal phases, including preparing scopes of work and budgets.
• Engage with Southeast client account teams to grow the Southeast portfolio and client relationships; some travel required.
