Job summary

Arcadis seeks a Regional Water/Wastewater Practice Leader to head the Southeast region, guiding water and wastewater projects from concept to delivery with hands-on technical leadership.

The role involves mentoring staff, coordinating complex project teams, and supporting proposals, scopes of work, and budgets while expanding Arcadis’ regional client relationships across multiple states. Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of water/wastewater treatment experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with reciprocity ability in other states.
• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; MS desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct QA/QC of water and wastewater projects ensuring conformance with contracts, specs, codes, and Arcadis practices.
• Lead staff development, mentoring, and knowledge transfer within the regional area.
• Oversee technical delivery on large or high-risk projects and coordinate with Arcadis PMs.
• Support marketing, proposals, scoping, and budgeting activities.
• Build Arcadis reputation and maintain industry relationships; travel as needed.
• Collaborate across regional teams to grow Southeast portfolio.
