Job summary

STV is seeking a Regional Hydraulic Modeling Technical Lead for our National Water Group in Dallas, TX to lead the hydraulic modeling team and support planning of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in civil/environmental engineering, fluent client communication, and leadership to develop infrastructure solutions, perform analyses, and deliver technical memorandums and master plans while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field; master's preferred.
Registered PE in Texas or other state.
Minimum 19 years in hydraulic analysis and design.
Hydraulic modeling in steady state and extended period simulations.
Proficiency with InfoWorks ICM/InfoWater/WaterGEMS or similar.
ArcGIS Pro experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prepare and deliver client presentations.

Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates, and directs hydraulic modeling analysis on multiple projects.
Interacts with project clients.
Leads collection-system modeling; CSO/SSO programs and large storage projects.
Mentors less experienced staff.
Performs analyses, prepares models, and summarizes results in memos and studies.
Provides QA/QC and supports scope and proposals.
