Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Hydraulic Modeler/Planner to join the Water Business Group in the New York/New Jersey offices. Lead teams delivering hydraulic and hydrologic models for water supply, stormwater, and wastewater projects, including planning studies and capital project development.

Responsibilities include client interaction, scopes of work, and cost estimates; mentoring and QA/QC on hydraulic modeling and master planning projects across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum of 10 years Water Resources experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling and water resources design.

Responsibilities

• Provide project and task management; conduct complex hydraulic/hydrologic modeling.
• Lead or contribute to master planning and infrastructure studies.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality assurance/quality control.
