Job summary

Tennessee Oncology, a leading community-based cancer care network, seeks a Regional Director of Clinical Operations to oversee multiple clinics, coordinate staff, and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will partner with providers and hospital leadership, manage budgets, drive process improvements, and mentor clinic managers across the region.

Bachelor’s in healthcare administration or related field; 3–5 years oncology office management; 2 years in a multi-site setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead multiple clinics and teams.
• Experience in healthcare administration preferred.
• Knowledge of fiscal management and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Directs regional operations managers and coordinates clinic activities.
• Ensures safe, high-quality patient care through staff supervision.
• Evaluates staff performance and hires or disciplines as needed.
• Manages office space, supplies and equipment for clinics.
• Implements process improvements and cost-control measures.
• Collaborates with providers and hospital leadership to meet goals.
• Oversees safety and compliance programs including OSHA and Meaningful Use.
• Mentors and develops direct reports and drives patient satisfaction initiatives.
• Rounds in clinics to maintain high visibility and engagement.
