Job summary

Trustmark National Bank in Houston seeks a Commercial Real Estate Manager - Central to lead multiple CRE lending divisions regionally, driving underwriting and the lending process. You will represent the bank to clients and lead business development efforts across markets.

The successful candidate will manage CRE lenders, review complex loan files, ensure policy compliance and participate in committees. A four-year degree in Finance or Business and extensive CRE experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Four-year college in Finance or Business or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 15 years knowledge of Commercial Real Estate lending experience.
• Lending background should include selling, structuring, negotiating, underwriting, and coordinating the closing of major and complex CRE loans.
• Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations and bank policies.
• Exceptional analytical skills related to loan packages and industry knowledge.
• Strong cash flow understanding and ability to explain bank products and services.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train, lead and develop a team of associates to promote efficiency and engagement.
• Serve as leader/liaison for CRE on a regional level.
• Approve all CRE loans/renewals in assigned region.
• Manage activities of CRE lenders.
• Staff development via mentoring and training.
• Participate on various bank committees.
• Lead sales and pipeline management meetings to maintain a strong credit portfolio.
• Analyze market data to recommend CRE products and services.
• Represent the bank in community and reinvestment functions to grow business.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
