Job summary

The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services seeks a CPS Regional Contract Program Director to oversee statewide contracts for direct client services and support services in the CPS region, based in NACOGDOCHES. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of four years of full-time experience in contract-management, procurement, auditing, social services or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract managers and contract technicians in day-to-day operations of a large direct client and support services contracts.
• Set goals to ensure proper planning, assignment, and supervision of staff and work schedules.
• Establish standards for evaluating contractor progress to meet state and federal requirements and implement improvement procedures.
• Coordinate procurement planning and contract development team activities with purchasing authorities.
• Represent CPS Regional Contracts by providing information and conducting presentations to internal and external customers.
• Facilitate data analysis and quality assurance of contract and contractor data in the official repository.
