Job summary

CLMI Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Regional Construction Scheduler to oversee project scheduling for the Los Angeles Unified School District. You will report to the Sr Construction Manager, ensuring project timelines are respected and staff recommendations are made based on project needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of experience in construction scheduling, preferably in educational settings, and possess a relevant bachelor’s degree. Offered compensation will depend on various qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years full-time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling.
• Experience in educational facilities or public works projects preferred.
• Graduate from a recognized college or university.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Sr Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating.
• Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met.
• Develop and maintain program schedules for construction projects.
• Interpret and read detailed construction drawings.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Superior organizational and planning skills

Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff

Understanding of theories, principles, and practices of cost engineering

Education

Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management

Two additional years of experience if degree is in a different course
