Construction Scheduler - Senior Regional (Work Location: Los Angeles, CA)
Base pay range: $173,000.00/yr - $188,000.00/yr

Required Experience
- Minimum eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in an educational facility or public works projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite
Required Education
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
- OR Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree in any course, but with additional two (2) years of experience in the duties above to compensate for the required education.

Duties
- Reporting directly to the Sr Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating and providing updates and preparing reports for upper management to meet Key Performance Indicators.
- Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met and interface with OARs, Senior Project Managers and other site staff and contractors related to the review of CPM schedules, project scope and budget.
- Determine staffing needs and make recommendations to executive staff to improve staff requirements.
- Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types.
- Interpret and read detailed construction drawings and develop a clear understanding of work scope.
- Review Contractor Baseline schedule submissions and verify that all work scope is identified properly and logically sequenced; provide written detailed schedule review comments.
- Perform QA/QC on contractor schedule submittals for conformance with contract terms; review critical path, cost loading, resource loading of man-hours, schedule content, recovery schedules, logic relationships and lags, constraints and milestones.
- Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis for any change orders that affect the construction schedule; conduct schedule negotiations with the OAR and the contractor for any delay time settlements.
- Read drawings to determine if work is in or out of scope, and understand terms and conditions of the contract to determine if any compensable or non-compensable time extensions have merit.
- Perform Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis.
- Visit construction sites as needed and check the contractor's weekly/monthly schedule progress; provide reports to the project OAR and upper management.
- Communicate effectively with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters in weekly status meetings and other schedule related meetings.
- Perform Program Schedule QA/QC reviews on a regular basis and status updates for Program/ Master Schedules on a bi-monthly basis.
- Prepare reports as needed and directed by Management.
