Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Regional Project Engineer for the Memphis team. This role collaborates with Field Application Engineers to design material handling systems, create proposals, and manage projects with significant autonomy and responsibility.

You will engage with robotics and automated solutions, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors and customers to ensure smooth project transitions. 20% travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Systems preferred).
• 3–5 years’ experience in automated material handling.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong technical problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Designs, supervises sites, troubleshoots and manages projects.
• Maintains budgets, schedules, and implementation plans.
• Assists with AutoCAD drawings, quotes, spare parts orders, and design tasks.
• Improves project execution processes (Gantt charts, continuous improvement).
• Ensures timely issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates site installations including material inventory and subcontractors.
