Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Regional Project Engineer to join the Kansas City team. You will work with Field Application Engineers to design material handling systems, develop proposals, and manage projects with autonomy.

The role involves site supervision, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with subcontractors while leveraging robotics and automation technologies. Travel about 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3–5 years' experience in automated material handling preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, supervise, troubleshoot and manage projects.
• Maintain budgets, schedules and implementation plans.
• Assist with AutoCAD drawings, quotes, spare parts orders, and other design tasks.
• Improve project execution processes and scheduling.
• Provide customer support and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
