Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Service Technician to maintain and repair industrial ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems at customer sites.

You will lead safety practices and provide expert diagnostics, coordinating with service managers and clients to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, EPA certification (or ability to obtain), and a strong background in electrical controls and system troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC program preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in industrial refrigeration.
• EPA certification required or ability to obtain.
• RETA 1&2 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and support industrial refrigeration systems at customer sites.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure adherence to PPE and safety policies.
• Diagnose and repair electrical controls, alarms, and control systems.
• Coordinate repairs with Service Managers and customers.
• Mentor apprentice technicians and uphold service quality.
