Job summary

PremiStar is seeking a Refrigeration Service Technician to service, install and maintain commercial refrigeration systems across client sites in the United States. You will perform tests, analyze data, and provide customer recommendations to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Candidates should have 5+ years of maintenance experience in commercial refrigeration, EPA certification, and a valid Connecticut D2/S2 license. This field-based role requires physical stamina and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA certification required.
• Connecticut D2/S2 license required.
• 5+ years of maintenance & repair in commercial refrigeration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and evaluate operating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Perform routine repairs and inspect test systems.
• Inspect and test system operations.
• Record faults and materials used on work orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and comply with safety policies.
• Assist with installation and equipment assembly.
• Generate and manage work orders addressing deficiencies.
