Job summary

Climate Pros, LLC is seeking a Service Technician – Commercial Refrigeration to service supermarket refrigeration, walk-ins, display cases, and rack systems across the Southeast United States, with emphasis on TN and neighboring states. You’ll work with experienced teams to learn company standards, equipment, and processes, while pursuing ongoing skill development.

The role requires technical proficiency, safe work practices, and adherence to union jobsite rules, with opportunities for training

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with refrigeration principles.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays per union rules.
• Valid state driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting on commercial refrigeration systems, including mechanical, electrical, and microprocessor-controlled components.
• Execute routine preventive maintenance, leak detection, and system performance evaluations.
• Deliver reliable, courteous, and professional service while interacting with customers and fellow union and non-union personnel on job sites.
• Provide accurate service documentation, including detailed notes, photos, and materials used for all assigned work orders.
• Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and union jobsite requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work vehicle and workspace.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules per union agreement.
• Travel as required to job sites within the assigned service area.
• Perform other related duties consistent with the classification as assigned.
