Job summary

US Foods seeks a Senior Refrigeration Systems Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and lifecycle management of facility and operational refrigeration and related systems across multiple sites. You will provide advanced technical leadership in automation, controls, mechanical, electrical and facility support systems, ensuring reliability and business continuity.

Qualifications

5+ years in industrial refrigeration or cold chain engineering.
Experience with ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and technical teams.
Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, PSM, IIAR, energy efficiency and automation.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and lifecycle management of facility and operating systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Provide advanced technical expertise for infrastructure, automation, controls, mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems.
Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, EHS, and external vendors on system improvements.
Monitor performance, analyze trends, and develop solutions to improve uptime and capacity.
Lead root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Develop engineering standards, documentation, and procedures for consistency and compliance.
