Job summary

CoolSys is hiring Refrigeration Start-up Technicians in Orlando to support supermarket projects and energy optimization efforts. You’ll start up refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment and help ensure projects are completed accurately and on time.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in EMS systems, parallel rack experience, EPA certifications, and a journeyman level skillset. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and sign-on bonuses up to $3,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Coursework at vocational-technical or trade school.
• 3+ years of supermarket EMS systems.
• EPA I and II Certification required.
• 5+ years in commercial refrigeration; CO2 a plus.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Experience with EMS wiring and programming.

Responsibilities

• Start-up of supermarket refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment; assist EO projects.
• Lead EMS wiring and programming for EMS systems.
• Full start-up of parallel refrigeration systems and individual systems.
• Lead small projects like single case and condenser changes.
• Assist with EO projects including retro-commissioning and EMS upgrades.
• Coordinate with branch managers; train junior technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
