CoolSys is hiring for HVAC/refrigeration technicians to service and repair equipment across various facilities. The role focuses on maintaining reliability and efficiency of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA certification required.
• Trade/tech school certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with display cases and walk-in boxes is helpful.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record; able to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability required.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, pumps, air handlers, and control devices safely and efficiently.
• Perform general repair on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems including air conditioning units and related equipment.
• Provide preventative maintenance; diagnose malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and maintain records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders; support other departments as needed.
