Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Option 1: 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration.
• Option 2: 6 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration and AAS in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Hold and maintain Type I and II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman where required.
• 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area or 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
• No serious traffic violations within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills.
• Use the work order system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect and diagnose issues with facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
