Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in supermarkets and cold storage facilities. You will work independently with minimal supervision and interact with customers to identify service opportunities.

Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration and merchandisers, managing vehicle and parts inventory, documenting work orders, and using handheld devices for invoicing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC-R certification preferred.
• EPA 608 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration, heating & air-conditioning systems.
• Develops first line customer relations and identifies potential sales opportunities.
• Manage truck inventory and ensures parts are ordered and billed with minimum waste.
