Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our local retail store team. You will support and oversee repair of Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC skills, tools, and work orders to assist stores and staff.

Responsibilities include emergency maintenance response, diagnosis of issues, safety/regulatory compliance, and routine training to operate equipment.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC/refrigeration skills and tools.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repair Work Orders to support Stores and associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all training requirements to safely operate equipment/tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations per Walmart safety/environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights frequently.
