Job summary

Trane Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration Systems Engineer to join our Trane Commercial Systems organization. You will be responsible for all aspects of equipment design and component integration for Water-to-Water HVAC product lines, including modeling performance and validating ideas in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 6 years of engineering experience; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Master's Degree in Engineering is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and data analytics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop refrigeration subsystems to meet performance, regulatory, and cost targets.
• Model chiller and heat pump performance to support design decisions.
• Lead reliability and quality improvement across components and their interactions.
• Support sales by providing performance selections and design modifications.
• Develop and execute product validation test plans and calibrate models with test data.
