Job summary
Aztec Shops at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego offers a full-time Lead Refrigeration Technician/Assistant Manager role. The technician will assist the Facilities Services Manager with daily operation, preventive maintenance, and hands-on repair of refrigeration and related systems across Snapdragon Stadium and SDSU campuses as needed.
The role requires strong troubleshooting, organization, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of maintenance and repair experience in commercial food service, refrigeration, HVAC, or related mechanical/electrical equipment.
- At least three years of hands-on HVAC/refrigeration troubleshooting and repair experience.
- EPA 608 Certification required; current HVAC/refrigeration certification or trade credential preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment to support reliability and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and coordinate repairs and replacements as needed.
- Monitor equipment operation and calibrate controls; work with BAS when relevant.
