Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Refrigeration Engineering Manager for an established manufacturer of commercial refrigeration equipment in Ocala, FL. The role leads a small engineering team, partners with manufacturing, and transitions knowledge from a retiring manager.

Requirements include 5+ years in refrigeration engineering, 2+ years in management, a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering, and AutoCAD proficiency. Onsite position with competitive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration engineering experience.
• 2+ years of engineering management or supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related field (required).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of EPA refrigerant regulations and current refrigeration codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small engineering team and coordinate with manufacturing to bring new products to life.
• Absorb institutional knowledge during an 8-week transition and drive ongoing projects.
• Ensure designs meet applicable UL, NSF, DOE, or ASHRAE standards and customer requirements.
