Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a Refrigeration Engineering Manager in the Ocala, FL area to lead and grow a small engineering team. The role requires absorbing institutional knowledge during an 8-week transition and driving new product development with manufacturing to keep production moving.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial refrigeration engineering and 2+ years in engineering leadership, with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering and AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration engineering experience.
• 2+ years in engineering management or supervision.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; strong working knowledge of EPA refrigerant regulations and current refrigeration codes.
• Proven experience designing and developing commercial refrigeration products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small engineering team and collaborate with manufacturing to bring new products to life.
• Absorb institutional knowledge during an 8-week transition and run with it.
• Ensure compliance with refrigeration codes and related standards; drive cross-functional initiatives.
