Job summary

DC Engineering's Refrigeration Technology Consortium (RTC) seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex refrigeration construction and infrastructure projects across North America. You will coordinate contractors, engineering teams, vendors, and regulators from planning through startup and closeout.

The role requires hands-on leadership, extensive refrigeration installation experience, and excellent communication. Travel to project sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 10–15+ years of experience managing refrigeration construction, installation, commissioning, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience with industrial refrigeration, commercial refrigeration, cold storage, or related facilities.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, construction practices, and field execution.
• Proven success managing contractors and complex capital projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead refrigeration construction and infrastructure projects from planning to closeout.
• Coordinate planning, design, construction, startup, and turn‑over activities.
• Manage site visits, progress reviews, and issue resolution.
• Lead kickoff and coordination meetings; ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Serve as primary client contact; communicate status, risks, and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design reviews and construction support.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, change orders, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate permitting and regulatory compliance.
