Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering.
• 4 years of refining or heavy industry experience.
• Valid driver's license and legal right to work in the US.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in refinery environment.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains process control strategies to optimize unit performance.
• Troubleshoots control system issues across hardware, software, and networks.
• Collaborates with operations, engineering, OT, and maintenance teams.
• Leads or supports MOC processes for control system modifications.
• Assists in turnarounds and post-event evaluations.
• Develops documentation like control narratives, alarm rationalization, and drawings.
• Provides refinery on-call support and incident investigations.
• Interfaces control graphics and APC applications for operators.
