Job summary

Inversion is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Reentry, to own manufacturing and integration tasks across multiple vehicle programs. You will bridge design and flight hardware, establishing assembly standards and workflows for structures, mechanism integration, TPS, and complex interfaces.

You will mentor junior engineers and align with the centralized production team to ensure safe, repeatable builds.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing engineering for new product introduction.
• Proficient in writing manufacturing work instructions and procedures.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and coordinate with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize assembly and integration processes for vehicle programs.
• Author and approve detailed work instructions, structural procedures, and checklists.
• Design, procure, and qualify vehicle integration tooling and GSE using CAD software.
• Lead disposition of floor non-conformances (MRB) and perform root-cause analysis.
