Job summary

DLH is seeking a Senior Data Manager/REDCap programmer to lead data management and EDC programming for federally and commercially funded clinical studies. You will design deep REDCap databases, create API-based integrations, and automate data workflows within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes data integrity, QA/QC, and compliance with regulations. You will mentor junior staff, manage environments, and ensure adherence to standards while supporting scalable data collection systems

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. in computer science, health sciences, or related field with REDCap/EDC project leadership experience.
Leading development of REDCap/EDC projects including admin, design, QA/QC, and UAT.
Experience integrating EDC with external systems via APIs or ETL.
Experience in designing edit checks, data cleaning, discrepancy management, and audit trails.
Experience managing development, testing, and production environments with change control.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing advanced REDCap databases, including longitudinal projects and complex workflows.
Developing and maintaining API integrations between REDCap and external systems.
Developing automated data validation rules, discrepancy reports, QA processes, and monitoring dashboards.
Operationalizing and documenting data collection workflows per study protocols.
Creating and interpreting reports for study monitoring purposes.
Conducting QC, validation, and UAT of data collection procedures and systems.
