Job summary

The State of Michigan is seeking a System Analyst 6 to provide PHP/MySQL REDCap support on AWS. The role requires extensive experience with PHP microservices, MySQL, Python scripting, and RESTful APIs, plus AWS and HIPAA-compliant practices.

Hybrid work schedule: in office 2 days a week; candidates must be local to Lansing, MI (within 75 miles) and have a Bachelor's degree. You will collaborate with DTMB, security teams, and Vanderbilt REDCap support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Support REDCap on AWS with user/project management, reports and surveys.
• Coordinate REDCap updates, patches, and upgrades with Vanderbilt University.
• Install, configure, and support REDCap External Modules using PHP on Linux/AWS environments incl. Apache/Nginx.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot REDCap APIs and automate data flows.
• Serve as primary technical contact for REDCap issues.
• Implement and maintain OIDC integration, Active Directory/LDAP, and SSL/TLS certificates.
• Prepare scripts to load data to REDCap database via import tool or REDCap APIs.
• Coordinate with AWS infra teams on servers, storage, networking, and security.
