Job summary

RICEFW Technologies Inc is seeking an experienced PHP/MySQL developer to support a REDCap application hosted on AWS. You will maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade, and assist with vendor coordination to ensure a secure, reliable platform. Close collaboration with stakeholders and DTMB teams is expected.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, and a one-year+ contract with hybrid work, in-office 2 days per week in Lansing, MI. Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of PHP Microservices development experience.
• Five+ years of MySQL database management.
• Five+ years of PHP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Five+ years of Python scripting for data loading and querying.
• Five+ years of RESTful API design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Five+ years of AWS enterprise web applications support.

Responsibilities

• Support the REDCap application hosted in AWS with user/project management, reports and surveys.
• Coordinate REDCap software updates, patches, and version upgrades with Vanderbilt University.
• Install, configure, and support REDCap External Modules on Linux/AWS environments including Apache/Nginx.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot REDCap API integrations and automate data flows.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for REDCap issues.
• Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure; ensure security and backups.
