Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Red Team Operator to lead advanced penetration testing and red team exercises, identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities across our systems, networks, and applications. The role requires collaboration with the security team to improve overall defense and deliver actionable remediation guidance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pen-testing experience and holds relevant certifications, with U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 8+ years of professional experience or Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience
• Minimum of 3 years in penetration testing
• Experience with at least 3 listed tools (see Qualifications Tools)
• Must hold one or more of the specified certifications (GPEN, GWAPT, GISF, GXPN, OSCP, OSCE, OSWP, OSEE, CISSP, or CEH)
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain DHS Public Trust and EOD clearance
• DHS IT security or audit experience preferred
• Familiarity with Python/PowerShell/Go/Ruby and malware analysis is a plus
• 7+ years IT experience in CS discipline preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute red teaming exercises to simulate real-world cyberattacks
• Identify vulnerabilities through active exploitation and testing
• Collaborate with Blue Team to enhance security posture
• Provide detailed remediation reports and recommendations
• Stay up-to-date on threats and exploitation techniques
