Job summary

Leidos seeks a Red Team Operator to join the DHS CISOD, conducting advanced penetration testing and red team exercises to identify and exploit vulnerabilities. The role requires deep technical expertise and collaboration within an offensive security team.

The successful candidate will report findings with remediation guidance, stay current on threats, and support securing DHS infrastructure and applications in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with 6–8 years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in penetration testing.
• Experience with multiple offensive security tools listed above.
• U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for DHS Public Trust and EOD clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive red team exercises to emulate real-world cyberattacks.
• Identify weaknesses via active exploitation and testing across systems and networks.
• Collaborate with Blue Team to improve overall security posture and remediation guidance.
• Deliver detailed remediation findings and actionable recommendations.
