Ladders is seeking a Senior Red Team Engineer - Frontier AI Security for a remote US-based role. You will lead offensive security efforts protecting AI-enabled and cloud-based systems across manufacturing and automotive environments.

You will mentor junior staff, shape security standards and testing methodologies, and work with cross-functional teams to assess risk, validate controls, and drive remediation in a fast-moving, innovation-driven setting.

Formación

• 7+ years in information security with 4+ years in penetration testing.
• Experience performing tests across web apps and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with Burp Suite and OWASP Top 10.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Red Team Engineer - Frontier AI Security (Remote US) to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will lead advanced offensive security efforts focused on protecting AI-enabled and cloud-based systems across a complex manufacturing and automotive environment.

You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to assess risk, validate controls, and strengthen the organization’s overall security posture through hands-on testing and remediation support.

The position also includes mentoring junior team members and helping shape security standards and testing methodologies in a fast-moving, innovation-driven setting.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced security assessments across web applications, APIs, and cloud platforms
• Identify vulnerabilities and validate security controls to enhance the security posture
• Conduct hands-on penetration testing and red team activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks and support remediation efforts
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to security standards and methodologies

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in information security, with 4+ years in penetration testing
• Proven expertise in conducting penetration tests across various environments, including web applications and cloud platforms
• Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools like Burp Suite
• Deep understanding of common vulnerabilities, particularly the OWASP Top 10
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation
