Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer on the CSET Team to provide adversarial emulation, red team testing, and security assessment services for government customers.

This role requires a BS in a related field, 7+ years of experience, DoD 8570 IAT II/IAM II, and OSCP or GXPN within six months. You will develop testing strategies, document findings, and collaborate across teams to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cyber adversarial emulation experience.
• Experience with pentesting Windows, Linux, networks, and web apps.
• Familiarity with Mitre ATT&CK terminology.
• Experience with incident response, reverse engineering, and forensics.
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II 8570 certifications required.
• Must obtain OSCP or GXPN within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and SME in Cyber Security Evaluation Team (CSET).
• Support offensive security, red team, and adversarial emulation testing.
• Execute Red Team engagements across networks from conception to report delivery.
• Develop testing strategies and programs to validate security controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide security engineering recommendations.
• Document vulnerabilities and remediation actions with risk mitigation.
