Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Cyber Security Evaluation Team (CSET) Member (Cyber Security, Senior Associate) to support the DoD National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) onsite at Patuxent River, MD. The role involves adversarial threat emulation, red teaming, and penetration testing across aeronautical systems and government networks.

The candidate will work with a team to assess vulnerabilities and impacts to missions, with potential weekend/evening shifts and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of pen testing, red team operations, and/or offensive security experience including on-net assessments.
• Experience with open source and commercial tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, NMAP, Core Impact.
• Knowledge of IP network protocols, subnetting, routing, switching, etc.
• Experience in multiple cybersecurity disciplines: Windows/Linux penetration testing, exploit/malware development, reverse engineering, web app testing, software/hardware hacking, cryptography, RF, SDN, digital forensics, control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform adversarial threat emulation (Red Teaming) and penetration testing on aeronautical systems and platform IT.
• Perform assessments on government networks including Windows domains, Linux, switches, routers, and other devices.
• Apply and develop advanced penetration testing principles, concepts, and tactics.
• Identify issues and vulnerabilities within operational networks and programs.
