Job summary

Cyber Defense Technologies is seeking a Senior Red Team Operator to lead on-site engagements for a government customer in Chantilly, VA. You will design adversarial security tests, evaluate environments, and translate findings into actionable risk mitigation.

Candidates with OSCP certification are highly recommended. Responsibilities include structuring red team operations, leading testing across networks and apps, and mentoring junior operators while communicating findings to executives and

Qualifications

• Experience in network penetration testing and manipulation of network infrastructure.
• Shell scripting or automation of simple tasks using Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• Experience developing, extending, or modifying exploits, shellcode or exploit tools.
• Experience with Red, Blue, or Purple teaming exercises.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an ability to structure a Red Team and optimize it for execution.
• Perform and lead a full scope of Red Team testing; including network penetration, web application testing, threat analysis, wireless assessments, social-engineering testing, and evasion techniques.
• Utilize OSINT and reconnaissance to guide target selection and risk assessment.
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for technical and executive audiences.
• Mentor and lead junior operators and translate technical findings for senior management.
