Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Red Hat Satellite & Ansible Engineer to join our IT team supporting a critical program delivering integrated voice, video, and data services. You will install, configure, and optimize Red Hat Satellite, integrate with VMware/Nutanix, and develop Ansible playbooks and templates to standardize infrastructure management.

The role requires 4+ years of relevant experience, active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain, and the ability to work 40 hours per week with

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 4 years of Red Hat Satellite patch management experience.
• Experience integrating VMware, Nutanix, and enterprise platforms.
• Experience with Red Hat Ansible Tower and automation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Red Hat Satellite for patching, provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate Satellite with VMware and Nutanix to streamline virtualization management.
• Create baseline configurations for Ansible Automation Platform and scale as needed.
• Develop Ansible playbooks, projects, and templates for standard automation.
• Deploy environments including SAP/HANA landscapes using Ansible workflows.
• Manage Ansible Tower with role-based access and scheduling.
• Create and maintain Tower templates and workflows for provisioning and compliance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Ansible Tower to ensure high availability.
