Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is hiring a Senior Red Hat Consultant in the Ft. Meade, MD area. The role demands an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to apply and 180k–200k USD annual compensation.

The successful candidate will lead detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions and provide senior-level guidance to IT leadership across multi-vendor environments. The position emphasizes cross-functional leadership, strategic direction, and the ability to deliver complex solutions on time while maintaining

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience and a Master of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study.
• Without a Masters degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (15+ years in total).
• Demonstrated ability to develop solutions usable at multiple customer sites to enhance availability, performance, maintainability and agility.

Responsibilities

• Usually responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions.
• Is usually the Principal Consultant who analyzes and develops enterprise technology solutions.
• Provides the technical direction required to resolve complex issues to ensure on-time delivery of solutions.
• May need to develop new methods to apply to situations.
• Provides advanced technical consulting and advice to proposal efforts, solution design.
• Provides consulting advice to customer senior IT leadership and sets strategic direction for customers based on the company’s solutions and products.
