Job summary

Northwestern Mutual’s Winston-Salem District Office is seeking a Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for both full-time Financial Representatives and internship programs. The role emphasizes relationship-building, sourcing from multiple channels, and delivering a strong candidate experience.

The successful candidate will partner with office leadership, maintain accurate candidate data, and drive pipeline growth to support annual recruiting goals and office expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of recruiting, sales, business development, or relationship-driven experience preferred.
• Experience with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Handshake.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking abilities.
• Existing personal or professional network and community involvement are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to meet annual full-time and intern hiring goals.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, referrals, and community channels.
• Screen and conduct first-round interviews with candidates.
• Maintain relationships with candidates and manage communications through process.
• Coordinate interviews with office leadership and build referral pipelines.
• Represent Northwestern Mutual at events and campus activities.
• Track recruiting activity, dashboards, and pipeline metrics for leadership.
