RLI is seeking a Sr. Recruiter to drive the end-to-end recruiting process across various corporate functions. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, researching strategies for candidate sourcing, and providing an excellent candidate experience. The successful candidate will leverage ATS tools, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and manage multiple job requisitions efficiently. Under minimal supervision, the Sr. Recruiter drives the recruiting process to achieve staffing objectives through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Sr. Recruiter collaborates with hiring managers and within the HR department to promote consistency of communication throughout the hiring and onboarding process. Utilizes external sources for job postings and database searches. Assists in special projects and administrative duties when needed.
Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for full cycle recruiting across a variety of corporate functions and business units including sourcing, phone screening, scheduling interviews, offers, background checks and onboarding.
Research and source passive candidates through multiple channels including internet prospecting, networking, employee referrals, social media, online associations and groups, employee ambassadors and Applicant Tracking System (ATS) searches. Leverage ATS to develop and maintain candidate pools.
Partner with hiring managers to develop sourcing strategies and measure effectiveness of strategies to ensure a strong pipeline of potential candidates.
Guide managers on candidate screening and interviewing techniques, including the use of value alignment interview questions.
Manage candidate communication throughout hiring process and provide an excellent experience by preparing candidates for interviews and providing detailed information on the organization, culture, business strategy, department and hiring leadership.
Manage all job-related changes and transfers in ATS for internal candidates and/or employees.
Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager and Talent Development Manager in execution of diversity hiring practices in alignment with our D&I strategy.
Assess position requirements and candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with business requirements; provide accurate and insightful candidate assessments to hiring managers and share frequent status updates on open searches.
Facilitate candidate assessments as needed.
Manage relationships with search firms as needed.
Partner with Total Rewards team to extend offers and communicate compensation and benefits packages.
Track, monitor, disposition and report ongoing recruiting activities through the disciplined use of Workday ATS which ensures data integrity for metrics and reporting.
Coordinate special projects when needed and assists in other administrative duties as necessary.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or in a related field
4+ years of related experience

Excellent interpersonal, networking, and negotiating skills and ability to effectively engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to recruit and source hard-to-find candidates.
Working knowledge of ATS tools and technologies as well as LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate databases.
Ability to prioritize in order to achieve actionable results.
Demonstrates strong sense of urgency and ability to manage initiatives to closure.
Ability to manage and be responsible for an average of 10 – 15 job requisitions at a time.
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
