Job summary

Amazon is seeking a seasoned Global Specialty Recruiting (GSR) Scholar recruiter to partner with science leaders and build pipelines of top academic talent. You will influence senior executives and guide hiring decisions across a range of complex roles, aligning talent strategy with business goals and Amazon's research agenda.

The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, confidential searches, and collaboration with hiring managers to deliver exceptional candidate experiences.

Qualifications

5+ years advising and influencing executive leadership
Bachelor's degree or above
Experience building talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines
Experience managing multiple searches and client relationships
Experience recruiting passive senior scientists/academics
5+ years in corporate, startup or executive search with passive science/academic focus

Responsibilities

Strategically engage best-in-class academic passive talent for tough technical challenges
Develop innovative ways to connect with leading academics and drive impact
Share intelligence on relevant domains with the team and broader org
Build academic talent networks and cultivate relationships within the community
Own business relationships and provide strategic guidance with hiring managers
Conduct informational calls, screen calls, and interviews throughout the lifecycle
