Qualifications

• 5+ years advising and influencing executive leadership
• Bachelor's degree or above
• Experience building and driving talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
• Experience recruiting passive candidates who are the most senior experts in their field
• 5+ years of progressive corporate, startup or executive search firm recruiting work focusing on passive science/academic candidate generation in high tech markets

Responsibilities

• Strategically engaging best in class academic passive talent to solve some of Amazon’s toughest technical challenges.
• Developing innovative ways to raise the bar on how Amazon connects with leading Academics in their fields and drives impact.
• Continually contributing to the knowledge base of both our team and the broader recruiting community by sharing intelligence related to relevant domains and profiles
• Building out academic talent networks and tapping knowledgeable academic sources to develop strong relationships within the community.
• Owning business and stakeholder relationships, providing strategic guidance and coaching with executive hiring managers and their teams.
• Conducting informational/exploratory calls, phone screens, and interviews; actively participate in hiring decisions throughout the candidate life cycle.
