Job summary
Amazon's Global Specialty Recruiting (GSR) team seeks a client lead recruiter to partner with Directors and VPs, shaping senior engineering talent across Amazon's technology landscape.
You will craft recruiting strategies for highly critical roles, identify passive senior candidates, and build robust networks, driving data-driven updates and executive-level decision making throughout complex searches.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in corporate or search firm recruiting, focusing on passive engineering candidates.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and hire engineering candidates.
- Proven track record of managing complex executive search processes including client management, candidate development, and offer negotiation.
- Experience working with senior executives and providing strategic talent counsel.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary talent advisor to Directors and VPs, educating leaders on the external senior engineering talent landscape and market dynamics.
- Define and deliver recruiting strategies for highly-critical roles with broad cross-organizational impact.
- Identify and engage passive senior engineering candidates through creative sourcing strategies.
- Lead client update meetings on active searches with data-driven insights on progress and market conditions.
- Perform comprehensive candidate assessments, debriefs, reference checks, and present/negotiate offers.
