Job summary

Playlist is seeking a Senior Recruiter to own full lifecycle recruitment for external candidates, focusing on strategic hires for high impact G&A roles. You will be the single point of contact for candidates, evaluating fit, salary, relocation, and visa needs while collaborating with leadership on hiring strategies.

You will build a robust talent funnel, present hiring data to stakeholders, ensure compliance, and foster a diverse, inclusive candidate experience across the org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Lifecycle Recruiter.
• Proactively identify and hire top talent.
• Experience developing recruiting strategies to meet hiring goals.
• Technical acumen including familiarity with programming languages, systems architecture, IT networking and commonly used hardware and software tools.
• Experience cross-functional with Legal, HR, Compensation, Operations, etc.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
• Proven success sourcing and hiring for hard-to-fill roles in fast-paced tech organizations.
• Proficient with Greenhouse ATS and translating data into action.
• Able to balance strategic hiring goals with an excellent candidate experience.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide and influence with care.
• Passion for building diverse teams and fostering equity through every stage of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle recruitment for external candidates with a focus on strategic hiring for high impact roles.
• Engages with candidates as single point of contact and screens candidates for availability, interest levels, salary range, relocation needs, visa status and basic qualifications.
• Assists leadership in developing high level strategy that contributes to meeting company-wide hiring goals.
• Manages stakeholder expectations by presenting data that helps demonstrate a deep understanding of the available talent pool for hard to fill positions.
• Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education, skills, training, fit with organization, and future potential.
• Builds and maintains a strong recruiting funnel by proactively identifying and building relationships with hard-to-find talent.
• Provides candidates with information regarding company culture, compensation, benefits, policies and procedures.
• Builds strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure hiring requirements are understood, anticipated and met.
• Ensures compliance with established procedures and applicable laws.
• Provides regular reports on the status of positions and presents data and solutions, as needed.
• Effectively handles challenging and sensitive personnel situations, while maintaining confidentiality and exhibiting sound logic and judgment.

About the right team member

The Senior Recruiter plays an integral role in growing Playlist's pipeline of talent. This role identifies and works with internal and external candidates through the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interview setup, offers, negotiations, and closing. The Senior Recruiter acts as a subject matter expert by staying current with recruiting best practices, changing trends, and strategic sourcing methodologies.
