Job summary

Voleon is seeking a Senior Recruiter, Quantitative Research to lead full-cycle recruitment for AI/ML and data science talent. You will own the candidate experience end-to-end, partner with research and data science leadership, and build pipelines from sourcing to closing gifted researchers.

You will work with world-class researchers and finance/tech professionals, manage offers, and drive market knowledge on talent benchmarks. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• At least five years of talent acquisition experience with sourcing and full-cycle recruitment of investment research talent.
• Experience recruiting PhD-level AI/ML Researcher and Data Science talent is preferred.
• Excellent client management skills with a history of developing customized, consultative relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Research and Data Science leadership to support hiring and growth efforts.
• Ensure hiring goals are met in a sustainable, diligent manner.
• Source a rich pipeline of high-level quantitative research talent (PhD-level).
• Manage the offer process and develop effective closing strategies.
• Own the candidate experience and ensure a positive journey for all candidates.
• Maintain and improve a high-performance recruiting process focused on quality of hire.
• Develop, share, and apply market knowledge about talent markets and recruiting practices.
• Lead projects to improve recruiting effectiveness across the team.
