Job summary

AMS in New York seeks a Senior Recruiter to support client hiring managers, ensuring start dates and KPIs are met and delivering high-quality resourcing. You will build end-to-end recruitment campaigns and mentor teams to optimize candidate interactions.

You broker offers, manage relationships, and drive placement forecasts in a fast-paced financial services context with a focus on compliance and risk talent.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting for highly corporate roles within Financial Services, including risk & compliance, audit, sales, technology
• Worked with, and presented to and solved issues for clients and candidates, including Hiring Managers
• Expert in behavioural / competency-based interviewing
• Experience of working to and achieving demanding targets, ratios and SLAs
• Experience of producing business orientated management information
• Able to demonstrate a broader understanding of the clients business and strategies and how they influence AMS Service Delivery
• Able to act autonomously, potentially responsible for own business areas on a standalone basis
• Thorough understanding of legislation affecting area of work (e.g. age discrimination, employment risks for contractors)

• Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising and database searching)

Responsibilities

• Ensure the recruitment service is delivered, in line with contractual obligations and client service levels
• Contribute to commercial success by meeting monthly and annual targets; start dates targets
• Develop end-to-end recruitment campaign strategies for longer-term client requirements
• Develop and support sourcing strategy for each role/business unit and agree the strategy with hiring manager
• Work effectively with the sourcing and admin team to ensure a smooth client and candidate experience
• Mentor / guide members of the sourcing and admin team on best practice approaches, client culture and support them in achieving success in their roles
• Responsible for the management of candidate relationships and their satisfaction with the recruitment experience
• Support the hiring manager with deciding which candidate to hire and guide them in determining an appropriate offer. Close the candidate: broker the offer with the chosen candidate, manage objections and support the candidate during their notice period
• Forecasting placements based on demand, changes in the clients business, the candidate pipeline and trends in business demand

As Senior Recruiter, you will support client hiring managers with filling their vacancies to target start dates ensuring all quality thresholds and KPIs are met, and value is generated for AMS. The role of the Senior Recruiter is to develop and deliver excellent recruitment services to the client in line with agreed service levels. The Senior Recruiter is also responsible for building excellent relationships within the hiring manager community to identify opportunities for direct hiring and provide guidance to ensure a best practice approach to resourcing is adopted.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll do:

For this role, the initial expected remuneration is US USD 72,500 -103,400; NYC USD 90,300 - 110,000, plus applicable benefits (Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Spending Accounts, Life, Voluntary Benefits, 401(k), Paid Holidays/Vacation/Sick Time, Performance Bonus)
