Job summary

Qualified Recruiter, LLC in Houston, Texas is seeking a Recruiter to lead its full-cycle recruitment across manufacturing, engineering, operations, field service, sales, and corporate roles, from workforce planning through offer acceptance.

The successful candidate will build scalable recruiting processes, strengthen the employer brand, develop candidate pipelines, and partner with hiring managers to define requirements while delivering a positive candidate experience in a competitive energy

Qualifications

• Five+ years of full cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial, oil and gas, or energy environments.
• Proven success in sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines.
• Strong interviewing, evaluation, communication, and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruitment for multiple functions including manufacturing, engineering, operations, field service, sales, and corporate hiring.
• Partner with hiring managers to define requirements, improve job descriptions, and implement structured interviews.
• Source, interview, evaluate, and engage candidates through the hiring process.
• Develop talent pipelines for skilled trades and engineers to fill hard-to-fill roles.
• Strengthen employer brand across job boards and social channels; build relationships with colleges and organizations.

Job description

An established energy sector manufacturer is seeking a Recruiter to lead its complete recruiting function. This individual will manage hiring from workforce planning through offer acceptance while developing scalable recruiting processes and strengthening the company’s presence in a competitive labor market.

This is a hands on position supporting skilled trades, engineering, operations, field service, sales, and corporate hiring. The Recruiter will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers while maintaining an organized and positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle recruitment for manufacturing, engineering, operations, field service, sales, and corporate positions
• Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, improve job descriptions, and create structured interview processes
• Source, interview, evaluate, and engage qualified candidates throughout the hiring process
• Develop talent pipelines for welders, pipefitters, CNC machinists, field technicians, licensed engineers, and other difficult to fill positions
• Build relationships with technical colleges, trade schools, universities, and professional organizations
• Strengthen the employer brand across job boards, social media, employee referrals, and community partnerships
• Advise hiring managers regarding candidate availability, compensation expectations, and recruiting conditions
• Track recruiting performance, including time to fill, offer acceptance, source effectiveness, candidate quality, and early retention
• Maintain ATS data accuracy, recruiting reports, documented procedures, and consistent hiring practices
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and future hiring forecasts
• Manage relationships with staffing agencies, search firms, and contingent labor providers
• Support recruiting activity for operations in the United States and Canada

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• At least five years of full cycle recruiting experience
• At least two years of recruiting experience within manufacturing, industrial, oil and gas, or energy environments
• Demonstrated success recruiting skilled trades, technical professionals, engineers, operations employees, and administrative personnel
• Experience sourcing candidates and maintaining proactive talent pipelines
• Strong interviewing, candidate evaluation, communication, and relationship management skills
• Experience using and maintaining an applicant tracking system
• Ability to manage several open positions and competing priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations
• Experience recruiting across the United States and CanadaExperience building or formalizing a recruiting function
• Familiarity with recruiting metrics, workforce planning, and compensation benchmarking
• Spanish and English bilingual communication skills
