Job summary

PC Construction is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead our regional talent acquisition strategy and strengthen our people and culture initiatives. This full-time role requires in-office presence in one of our regional offices (FL, GA, NC, or VT) to collaborate with executives and hiring managers.

You will own end-to-end recruitment for the Northern regions, build pipelines, guide candidates through onboarding, and partner with HR on workforce planning and recruitment strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum five to ten years of recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting construction professionals is highly preferred.
• Strong full-cycle recruitment capabilities and onboarding experience.

Responsibilities

• Create requisitions for open positions with executives and hiring managers.
• Identify and implement effective recruiting methods based on role and needs.
• Write recruitment ads and post openings on social media and other media.
• Serve as the main contact for recruitment inquiries and sourcing.
• Source and evaluate resumes using LinkedIn and Indeed to build pipelines.
• Maintain consistent communication with applicants throughout the process.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews.
• Lead interview and selection practices and train interviewers.
• Organize interview structure and questions for interviewers.
• Lead post-interview evaluation meetings with the team.
• Develop offer letters with HR and managers in line with policies.
• Manage onboarding: pre-employment checks, E-Verify, setup workspace.
• Lead onboarding for first days and welcome new hires.
• Evaluate ATS/on-boarding tools to maintain best practices.
• Research AI trends to forecast talent needs and recruiting strategy.
• Lead workforce planning with HR and executives.
• Educate PC employees on referral programs.
• Provide training for PC employees in your area of expertise.
• Develop PC’s presence on social media, website, and intranet.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Support HR with marketing materials and recruiting supplies.
• Travel to career fairs and jobsites as needed.

In this senior level role, you will lead our proactive talent acquisition strategy and grow our people and culture initiatives. In office presence required: This position requires a full-time, Monday–Friday physical presence in one of our regional offices FL, GA, NC, or VT office to collaborate with the team and support executives.

Your primary focus will be identifying, engaging, and pipelining top-tier construction talent for our expanding Northern regions. In this role, you’ll lead the talent acquisition and recruitment process for our Northern regions, building and facilities projects, and core departments, collaborating closely with the recruiting and human resources team as well as hiring managers. You will implement effective recruiting strategies, guiding candidates through the hiring process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience before their first day. We’re looking for someone with a passion for full-cycle, hands‑on recruitment and a positive attitude, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment while partnering with our collaborative and supportive HR team.

This position has a pay range of $78,000 - $90,000 annual salary, depending on experience, in addition to an extensive benefits package that includes company stock, and a profit‑sharing bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Create requisitions for open positions, in partnership with executives and hiring managers.
• Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and needs of the company.
• Write recruitment ads and place advertisements for all open positions on social and other appropriate media.
• Serve as the main contact for recruitment inquiries and sourcing, including both internal and external candidates.
• Source and evaluate resumes for open positions, including both internal and external candidates; utilize LinkedIn and Indeed to source and build pipelines.
• Maintain frequent written and verbal communication with all applicants throughout recruitment process.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews for both internal and external candidates.
• Lead PC’s interview and selection best practices and train interviewers.
• Organize and communicate interview structure and questions to interviewers.
• Lead post-interview evaluation meetings with interview team.
• Working in partnership with the hiring manager develop offer letters based on company policies and standards.
• Manage all aspects of onboarding for the candidates sourced by this position: ensure pre-employment drug screening and E-Verify process is complete; vehicles, technology equipment as well as cleaned and prepared workspaces upon their first day of employment.
• Lead onboarding efforts, including coordination for first days of employment, and send out welcome boxes.
• Continually evaluate applicant tracking system and on-boarding products, software, and methods to maintain best practices.
• Research, track, and analyze emerging AI trends and technologies, applying these insights to forecast talent needs and design forward-thinking recruitment strategies, in collaboration with recruiting team.
• Lead workforce planning efforts, in coordination with HR team and executives.
• Manage and educate PC employees on the referral programs.
• Conduct training for PC Employees on topics within your area of expertise.
• Develop and maintain PC’s presence on social media sites and on PC Construction’s website and Intranet.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Assist HR team members in the layout and design of marketing materials, flyers, postcards, brochures, and other materials; maintain recruiting supplies and inventory.
• Support the HR team with various projects as needed.
• Travel to career fairs and jobsites as needed.

Strong verbal, written, communication, and organizational skills are essential. We are looking for someone with a minimum of five to ten years’ experience in recruiting. Experience in recruiting construction professionals is highly preferred.
